The Belmont County Board of Commissioners desires to establish a Complete Count Committee (CCC)in partnership with the US Census Bureau to be an educational and outreach partner to support the US Census for 2020. CCCs serve as state and local “census ambassador” groups that play an integral part in ensuring a complete and accurate count of the community.
Your participation will help raise awareness of the importance of the Decennial Census and to encourage citizens to complete the census on time. A complete count is a high priority for all local government officials as its results not only determine federal funding allocations for hospitals, fire departments, schools, roads, housing programs, emergencies and natural disasters for Belmont County and the jurisdictions within it, but also establish Ohio’s delegation to Congress for 10 years.
If you or a member of your organization would be interested and willing to serve on the CCC, please contact Jennifer Magyar, Assistant Clerk, at 740-699-2155 or via email at email@example.com on or before December 6, 2019.
We look forward to hearing from you and thank you in advance for your consideration as we work together to address this important issue.
